Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mihail Blagoev

Mihail Blagoev is a Bulgarian-born entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in medical technology and international business development. He entered the medical-device industry in 2009, leading international sales and marketing for an American company, before becoming Vice President of Global OrthoBiologic in 2013.

He subsequently helped develop Global Regenerative Group’s international activities across medical technology distribution, professional education and clinical collaboration. He is also Founder and CEO of Medical Entrepreneurs, a platform focused on bringing medical innovations to international markets.

As Founder and CEO of Liposmart, Mihail leads the company’s strategy, commercial development and international partnerships. His focus is on connecting the technology with the physicians, scientific collaborators and distribution partners needed to support its introduction and continued development.

Co-founder & Chief Financial Officer

Randolph Beimel

Randolph Beimel brings a background in finance, financial consulting and international business development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania. His career includes leadership of Mission Bay Consulting and the establishment of the Balkan Group in 2007.

After becoming involved in regenerative medicine in 2011–2012, Randolph founded Global OrthoBiologic in 2013 to support the international distribution of regenerative technologies. His work has brought together financial planning, business development and collaboration with medical professionals and technology companies.

As Co-founder and CFO of Liposmart, Randolph oversees financial strategy and planning, supporting the company’s commercial development and long-term growth. He works alongside the founding team to align financial resources with product development and international expansion.

Scientific Director

Carlo Ventura, MD, PhD

Carlo Ventura is a physician and molecular biologist whose research spans stem-cell biology, cardiovascular regeneration and mechanobiology. He obtained his medical degree, specialisation in cardiology and doctorate in biochemistry at the University of Bologna. His international research experience includes work at the National Institute on Aging, part of the US National Institutes of Health, in Baltimore.

A former Full Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Bologna, he is Scientific Director of the INBB National Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Stem Cell Engineering in Bologna and of ELDOR Lab.

Carlo was the senior corresponding author of the foundational 2013 study on nonenzymatic adipose-tissue processing associated with the development of Lipogems. He is also a named co-inventor on the published Liposmart tissue-processing patent applications.

As Scientific Director of Liposmart, he guides the scientific framework behind UFAT, with particular attention to the stromal vascular niche: the relationships between resident cells, microvessels and extracellular matrix that shape tissue organisation and biological signalling.
