Wash the tissue
Saline washing and phase separation allow unwanted fluid, blood residues and free oil to be removed from the collected tissue.

TECHNOLOGY
The chamber systems use a flexible elastomer bag to hold tissue and washing fluid. Selectable pathways allow washing alone or washing with mechanical filtration.

THE ELASTOMER CHAMBER
The internal bag expands as it receives fluid and tissue. Its elastic return helps drive the contents out when the appropriate outlet is opened.
The published technology describes this passive recoil mechanism alongside controlled fluid pathways for washing, separation and collection. Preparation still requires the physician to follow the system-specific steps.

CHAMBER PREPARATION PATHWAYS
Saline washing and phase separation allow unwanted fluid, blood residues and free oil to be removed from the collected tissue.
UFAT 120 mL and Augment 275 mL include 1,200 μm and 700 μm tissue filters. Boost 60 mL includes a 700 μm filter. Washing-only pathways avoid the tissue-sizing step.
The chamber configuration permits washing following mechanical tissue preparation before the final tissue is collected. Use the relevant product instructions for the sequence.
HOW IT WORKS
The chamber systems and Pure Flow have different preparation formats. Choose a system for its overview, documents and instructional video.
Washing fluid primes the circuit.
Prime the connected circuit with washing fluid before introducing harvested tissue.
Introduce the harvested lipoaspirate through the selected preparation pathway. The system includes 1,200 μm and 700 μm tissue filter options.
Washing fluid mixes with the tissue. After separation, fluid, blood and free oil drain to the waste bag.
Recover the processed tissue from the chamber outlet into a connected Luer Lock syringe.
PURE FLOW
Pure Flow uses connected syringes, emulsifiers and tissue filters rather than an elastomer processing chamber. Its workflow and components are explained on its own product page.
